A simple electric circuit
A circuit is a complete path for electricity. It needs:
- A source: a dry cell (battery).
- Wires (conductors) to carry the current.
- A load: a bulb.
- A switch to open or close the circuit.
When the circuit is closed, the bulb lights. When it is open (broken), the bulb goes off.
