Terms of Service

1. Acceptance By creating a KenVic Academy account you agree to these Terms. A parent or guardian must accept these Terms on behalf of a learner under 18. 2. The Service KenVic Academy provides online tuition: live classes run by independent teachers, course notes, practice questions, assessments, progress tracking and related tools. 3. Subscriptions Students and teachers pay a monthly subscription for platform access. You choose how many months to pay for in advance and pay via M-Pesa or from your wallet. Access stays active until the end of the paid period. Fees are not refundable once a period has started. 4. Paid Classes Teachers set their own class prices or offer classes for free. Class fees are paid from the student wallet. If a teacher cancels a class, the fee is returned to the student wallet automatically. 5. Wallet Wallet balances can be used for subscriptions and class fees. Wallet balances are not withdrawable by students. 6. Teachers Teachers are responsible for the accuracy and suitability of their classes, materials and assessments. Teacher earnings, less the platform commission shown in the dashboard, can be withdrawn to M-Pesa on the published payout days. 7. Recordings and Transcripts Live classes may be recorded and transcribed so that enrolled students can revise. By joining a class you agree to this. Recordings are only available to the teacher and enrolled students. 8. Conduct Be respectful. Harassment, sharing of inappropriate content, cheating or sharing your account is not allowed and may lead to suspension. 9. Referral Programme Referral rewards are earned when a person you invite pays their first subscription. Self-referrals and fraudulent referrals are void. 10. Liability To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the fees you paid in the three months before the claim. 11. Governing Law These Terms are governed by the laws of Kenya.
