How class fees work
Teachers choose the price of each live class, or make it free. Students pay from their KenVic wallet, which you can load with M-Pesa. Teachers receive the fee after the class, less a 10% platform fee. Cancelled classes are refunded to the wallet automatically.
How much does it cost?
Students pay KES 300 per month and teachers pay KES 500 per month. You can pay for 1, 2, 3, 6 or 12 months at a time through M-Pesa. Teachers set their own price for each live class, and many classes are free.
Do I need to install anything?
No. KenVic works in any modern browser. You can also install it as an app on your phone from the Install button. It is small and opens like a normal app.
How do teachers get paid?
Students pay class fees from their wallet. When the class ends, the teacher's earnings, after a small platform fee, move to their earnings balance. Teachers can then withdraw to M-Pesa.
