- Mountains: Mount Kenya (5,199 m, the highest), Mount Elgon, the Aberdare Ranges.
- The Great Rift Valley: runs from north to south through Kenya, with lakes like Naivasha, Nakuru, Baringo and Turkana.
- Lakes: Lake Victoria (largest, shared with Uganda and Tanzania), Lake Turkana.
- Rivers: Tana (longest in Kenya), Athi-Galana, Nzoia, Yala.
- Coastal plain: along the Indian Ocean.
