Perimeter
Perimeter is the distance around a shape. Add all the sides.
Rectangle: P = 2 x (length + width)
A rectangle 8 m long and 5 m wide: P = 2 x (8 + 5) = 26 m.
Square: P = 4 x side. A square of side 6 cm: P = 24 cm.
