Physical features
These are natural features on the surface of the earth.
- Mountains: very high land, for example Mount Kenya and Mount Elgon.
- Hills: raised land lower than mountains.
- Valleys: low land between hills, often with a river.
- Plains: large areas of flat land.
- Rivers and lakes: for example River Tana and Lake Victoria.
